Sps questions

What's a good beginner sps to start off with. I'm new on here and not sure if I posted in the right section.

Monti cap is probably your safest bet. There are others out there, but the caps are probably the cheapest. Try looking in the Pay it Forward thread in here.

Your post is in the right place if you wanted to reach out to the local forum ( CMAS ). If you want to reach Reef Central you should probably post in the SPS forum.
I would say a green or red Montipora cap is a good start. Followed by Montipora Digitata (the branching version) in green, orange, or purple. Those are the easier SPS that I know
