SPS Radion schedule

I know this has been brought up many times.
It's my turn!
I've been in and out of the hobby for over 10 years, recently decided I was sick of always promising myself an Aquarium. Bit the bullet and bought a mature tank. Since then I've been loading it with kit and it's looking great.
I'm running 2 gen3 Radions and I'm the first to admit I'm addicted to SPS, and I won't stop until I've finally achiev d a mature, full colour Aquarium.
Can someone with great colouration and grows send me there schedule? It would be a great help.

When I used radions I had the best success with the radiance template. I have g4 radions and dialed my par between 250 and 325 in my sps reef. I used this setup for a year and was very happy with coloration but growth was slow. Now I use the radions to supplement an ati dimmable sunpower , just the blue channels at around 30%. Ime t5s and halides are for sps . used together. I do however like the radions pop and sunrise/sunset which is what I'm using and my corals and my mind are thanking me for it. good luck ...zsu

I do agree but I am seeing good results on other tanks and the heat/electricity bills are too high!
I was thinking of adding some T5's later for 4 hrs during the day to help with the spread.

Download the radion ab+ template. I believe that's what it's called. It's been proven to grow and color sps

The heat for sure but in reality, I'm sure the radions can do it but in my opinion you need a radion for every sq.foot or so. As far as the electricity usage once you get the proper amount of led pucks and intensity there really isn't much of an electricity savings. Good luck...zsu

I use the SPS AB+ schedule. There is a PDF document describing the results of the schedule at an aquaculture facility done by ecotech

There is a lot of misleading information in that article. If you count of a lot of it as fact, you will be disappointed in your results. Keep in mind it was written to sell units.

In any case, regardless of the program that you choose, and a lot of people like the AB+, if your goal is truly a mature tank, then plan on two to four more Radions in your future.

IMO, saying that Radions are proven to grow and color SPS is as dangerous as saying that Krispy Kreme are all that a human needs to eat to stay alive. Both are true, but need to come with a laundry list of nuance.
