SPS RTN Overnight

hey fellas, recently measured my po4 to be 0.03, and my rowaphos has been running for 2 months, so i thought i'll just change it out.. i just to put about 7-8 tsp for my 65g, now i started off with 5tsp. However just after one night, my royal blue millie RTN-ed from the bottom, leaving the half top alive.. i was wondering if its because of this..

it also appears that some of my sps have some color loss too.

I would think not although I have heard many on RC tell people not to adjust GFO too fast... How big of a tank? How old. Other payameters?

In my tank, i get RTN when my alk is over 9 and my nitrates are zero... Even if my nitrates start to drift low after months of steady alk and nitrates, I get lose a couple of frags...

If you had .03 truly with little input of new phosphate. Ie feeding and plenty of fish. Then i wouldnt have changed it. Going to .03 to 0 will kill stuff. Somewhere dowm the road we are going to learn that gfo does kill coral if phosphates drop fast or go to zip.
