SPS Sliming after feeding Rod's Food

I just got the Rod's Food Herbivore blend and every time I feed it to the tank, some of my SPS, not all of them, would slime up. Is this normal?

This only happens when I feed Rod's Food. Doesn't happen when I feed mysis or cyclopeeze.

Probably a feeding response to the food in the water. Mysis and typically cyclopeeze, are too big for sps. The Rod's has lots of tiny pieces.

This is a new very beatup millepora frag that I just got. This is what happens when I feed Rods Food. The same thing happens to some of my other acroporas but not to this extent. The acropora are healthy, growing and colorful. I am convinced it is indeed a feeding response.

is that actually slime? or sweeper tentacles?

I myself think that they are mesenterial filments in response to feeding. But everyone that keeps sps that I know say oh that is just " slimming". And again only after feeding rods foods. Do not get me wrong I love Rods Food. And some of my others corals show the same type of polyps after feeding.

i have a tri color prostrata that does the same thing during feeding but not my millis

wow smtank, that's how mine looks. one of my millies do it and my Garf Bonsai. I guess if they're growing then its fine and I'll continue to feed Rod's Food.

I remember reading that acroporas slime up to help get food.

I have similar feed response when I fed rod's, as well as RN oyster feast.
