SPS stunt growth

Been noticing my SPS have been growing not normal. Some of the tips are forming a ball shape which make me feel like there growth is stunt. I have been 2 part dosing along with a Balling Light solutions from Fauna Marin. My mag is close to 1400ppm cal is at 485 and alk is at 8dk. Everything was growing fine this is my first batch of balling light solutions on the 1 gallon jugs are low. Just wondering if it's the solution settling on the bottom that may be cause the growth patterns that have been happening? Let me know if anyone has any suggestions or ideas what may be causing this.

Thanks

A lot of my pieces have different growth patterns then they originally had. .... I think it's a lot to do with being in a different enviroment ... Diff flow etc.... A few of my stags have the ball looking growth patterns on the ends also but r healthy

IME stunted growth can be attributed to one or more of the following:

1. Incorrect Alk/Cal/Mag levels, or lack of balance between them.
2. Parasites. Red bugs/ Acropora Eating Flatworms
3. Nutrients. Excess or lack there of. Lately it seems to be more of a lack of nutrients that plagues SPS tanks.

Sure there are other things such as lighting and flow, but the above seem to be more common.

+1 on odd stag growth tips.
