What do people add to their tanks besides food, and kalk, and water changes for their Acros?
Anyone adding trace elements, iodine, Strontium or other things on a regular basis?

I add lots and lots of fish poo..... a little here and there a little everywhere, I fertalize my garden often.

i add coral vite from kent. seems to yield great PE and more vivid color when i dose it . i dose about 10ml a day of it.

I add Calcium and Alkalinity, Magnesium the rare times it's low.
I feed a mix of foods, mostly a homemade food with a wide range of components.

At times I've experimented with suppliments/etc beyond that, but when discontinuing their use - IMO the tank didn't `get worse' so I've stuck with the Ca/Alk/food method.

All of the above and; mg, Ca via calcium reactor, just started to regularly use amino acids and bacteria.

There's a question with a million answers! :lol:

Fish poop is probably the all around best followed by debate whether other additives can be beneficial or not. That's not too far off of whether dsb's, ssb's or bb are best.
