Just upgraded my tank from 90g to 220, I havent connected my chiller and have my heaters set to go on at 76.5 n off at 77.9
Ck'd my AC3 graph and noticed a fluctance of +/- 4 degrees.

1) This will be my first SPS Dom tank what is your temp goal for the summer?

2) Is the fluctuation too much? Should it be tighter?

I dont know if I am correct but my current setup is in the garage and it fluctuates 4 degrees a day from 79 to 83. I still have great growth and color.

Placed my chiller on the new tank finally n dialed in down to a 2 degree differential. 82-79 but it hasn't gone below 80 :)

Corals are not stressed as i was worrying lol

I think it is fine, actually a good thing. IMHO temp is one of the params you don't want too tight. 4-5 degrees in a full day is fine as long as the top end of your range isn't over say 84 and bottom end below like 73ish.

Mine goes from about 75-78/79 in a day and my sps grow very well.
