SPS Tank Upgrade - HELP

Hey guys,
The time has finally arrive for me to upgrade my 30 gal cube to a 120 cube. The tricky part of this transfer is.... I am going from sanded tank to a bare bottom tank.

My plan is to mix about 80 gallon of salt water with same parameter as close as possible to the 30 cube. And throw all the spare rocks I have into the 120. Give it 2 weeks, and I'll be transferring water from the 30 cube to the 120 and also move the rocks over. My tank consisted of SPS coral and some Acans, so I hope this transfer goes smoothly. Any advice or better idea to transfer the tank would greatly be appreciated. Thanks

Steven

My main concern would be alk and salinity match first, temp second, and a peaceful normal flow tank/similar light power to adjust at third.

Basically I am assuming no ammonia and other rookie issues. Make sure it is cycled. For sure.

Going from a sand tank to a bare bottom tank is not going to be an issues, unless you have sand sifting critters.

Before making the swap check your parameters and let that be your guide. Two weeks may or may not be enough time.
