SPS - tips turning green!

Hi!

I got this frag from a fellow reefer. I have had it in my tank for about 3 months maybe. The frag has spread (growth) at its base, but not the tips. Also lately it looks as if it is changing into another color. I would guess a pale yellow?
What is interesting is that its base and some of the tips close to the base have acquired a fluorescent green. I can see it in plain daylight (as you can too in the pic) but also under actinics.

Does this mean the coral will become fluorescent green? Or is that a stage it is going through after the stress period since I glued it on my LR? I hear SPS take months until they start colouring up etc..

By the way can someone also ID this coral? I suppose some kind of acropora?
Thank you in advance.

Looks reasonably happy. If you feel it looks more colorful and or more fluorescent than when you got it that is a good thing. Hard to comment without seeing the before. I have a coral that started as a colorless flat green turd and turned into this....And this is not the best its ever looked. At one point it had almost neon green/yellowish polyps.....

I thought it was going to be a plain green coral. I've had this happen several times where you will start to pull all kinds of unexpected colors from these things. Blue tips is also always a nice surprise!
