in the last 4 days i have had 2 different sets of sps corals touch each other with bad results. the first was a Pocillopora damicornis that touched my huge monti undata. within a day of touching the pocillopora started to rtn and was gone by the end of the day. the same seemed to happen when a hawkins blue touched a unknown type of monti and the hawkins blue won. had to frag the monti and not sure i can save it.
is this common or is there something else wrong? all other corals look good.
