Sps wild colony hitchhikers (shrimp and crabs)

Alright I wanted to be sure before I put them back into a colony I just bought and dipped then qt'ed. Just got a chance to take some pics two crabs one big and one small, also what looks to me like a pistol shrimp but I have never seen one like this. Are they good or bad? And thanks for looking and you response.

The shrimp is a pistol shrimp i was staring at him and he snaps, scared the s#$t out of me!! So small but so loud at 12 inches away

those are awesome! acro crabs/shrimp are great and safe just watch out for the hairy ones.. and ya I'm in the same boat I used to get acro crabs in all my wild pieces I only have a couple now in a tank full of sps they seem few and far between these days.

Thank you everyone for quick and invaluable informantion!!!!
And I am going to keep them but I still don't know about the pistol shrimp

Don't believe that a pistol shrimp. There are "acro" shrimps. Pistol shrimps typically have one claw larger then the other.

Hey,

Outstanding finds:smokin:. Both of those organisms are commensal species in stony corals. I have one Trapezia in my brown poci and they are excellent additions to your reef tank. The pistol shrimp should be OK too.......Jim Z.
