Here is a picture of the squamosa clam mantle. The mantles dont extend at all. What could be the problem. Does it look like PM?

My other crocea clam extend its mantle all the way past the shell. There are no pickers, not snails and water condition is good. ca 475 alk 8.6 sg 1.026, ph 8.1, temp 76, sps tank with low nutrients. 2x250w mh, med flow.

Help is appreciated.

looks like PM but ill let other chime in. FW dip would most likely help if you follow the instructions of numerous threads on here. most people say to do it before the clams gets too far gone.

thanks, I read that article and searched for more pictures of PM. I really cant positively id the PM, but I went ahead and FWD the clam for 30 minutes anyway. The dip seemed to help - the mantles are now more open but still have areas that are contracted. I am thinking about doing another FWD - any suggestion on how long to wait between FWD's?
