Squamosa ?

Just picked up this lil guy a few days ago. seems to be doing good hes just under 2 1/2" long but only about 3/4" wide when he (or she) is open? some of these clams on here are like 2" wide, but it seems like they are bigger clams... just wondering?

PS. he 's in my nano right now (yes i know WAY to small, but better then my LFS had it in) but it'll have to do for a few weeks till my 65 is ready. He's about 5" away from a 10watt 50/50 PC and seems to be doing good. every other day or so i place a 65watt 50/50 pc about 4" above (total of 10" away) the tank and he does seem to change any.

PPS. Par are great. do a 1gal water change on wed and sat.

i use DT's everyother day. seem s to help the tank. (8 diff zoo's, 2 mushrooms and 2 feathers). Are any of you all using DT?

I have a dursa a maxima and a crocea in my tank plus a coco wurm i use Dts two times a week and zooplankton nightly.

Sweet. i ve been using it for a few days maybe a week and seem to be getting great results.
my clam is pretty funny, every mornig so far he spins himself about a 1/4 (or the clean up crew), theres a little creator forming around him

I would leave the 65w over it all the time.

How much DT are you doseing everyother day??

well putting the 65 or it... i thought that it would help but it really hasn't changed much? it looks pretty much the same... remember it only about 5-maybe 6" away from the light... and doseing nery much DT's maybe 1/2 or 1/4 teaspoon. i don't measure. just put a few drops into a shotglass of tank water then pour in a litttle at a time over abiut 30min.
