square jellyfish aquariums possible?

It appears that they are able to shoot flow up from the bottom somehow to help keep circular flow but it cannot be as efficient as a classic kreisel aquarium and likely has some dead spots that you can't see with the eye. Not to mention that the flat sides are harder on the jellies when they bump into them versus sliding along a smooth curved surface. You'll also end up with dead spots in a normal rectangular tank.

Your best bet is to stick with circular kreisels. Tested, tried, and true for years and the general accepted way to successfully keep pelagic organisms suspended in the water column.

It can be done with square aquariums too but the round aquarium has better flow thogh theyr extremely hard to build especially in big sizes.Manny scientists use square aquariums for jellyfish and otther pelagic animals because is easyer to build.I even seened immortal jellyfish kept in a square aquarium .For A square aquarium you would need pulse flow.Lately there are also a lot of vertical jellyfish aquarium sold, wich IMO they look like a wax lava lamp. Its a matter of taste but i think the round aquarium looks the best.Kamo aquarium, Japan.
