Squirrel Fish suddenly swimming up top

My squirrel fish today suddenly has started swimming up top of the (90 gallon) tank circling in a corner. He's never done this before and I'm a bit concerned.

He looks a bit ragged (fins and color is a bit off) but breathing okay and ate okay earlier today.

I'm concerned that something might be off with him and he'll die soon. Any ideas?

What you are describing sounds a little like swim bladder disorder. Happens a lot to goldfish but can also occur in s/w fish. How long have you had him? Read this:

After reading if you still think it's swim bladder, I'd put him in a fish trap and try feeding peeled boiled peas. Not much else you can do for it IME.
