Soak it in some vinegar.

The internal grears are likely full of caco3 precipitate. The vinegar will dissolve it and get things working again.

I had trouble with one and soaked it in vinegar overnigh. I then flushed it out with the garden hose and it worked fine after that.

Ya, I pulled about 10 colonista snails out of mine once when it stopped working, problem with them is you can't open them up, so soaking them is the best alternative.

Brian!!!! Sorry that I haven't gotten back to you. Summer is crazy busy and I'm shooting weddings almost every weekend. Once that settles down I'll stop over and check out your new abode.
