What could be more important than registering for the SRC event and bringing your frags to the auction?
Seriously though, we hope that you are able to attend as this will be a great event.

I've got a rock of "chromis" palys plus a couple others I'm thinking about putting in. I was waiting to see if their would be room as I didn't want to bump any of the hobbyists since there were limited numbers of frags allowed. If there are spots left later in the week I'll post up a couple of my rarer frags and bring them along.

Please register if you are bringing something. Don't wait "till later in the week" or (my god) "day of." As of today there is room for all. Bump them, slap them, or dress them funny. Just get them to register! I'm excited about just about everything that I've heard. We have some AWESOME frags! Since we will not be holding up frags in bags like at a monthly meeting, but rather doing a slide presentation so everyone can see (and I'm putting together said slides...) I NEED YOU TO REGISTER!!!

I am trying to get as much of this presentation put together BEFORE SRC begins as humanly possible. Otherwise, I'll be the one muttering curses to myself in the back of the room working on the auction rather than paying some attention to our speakers. There I will sit, working on the computer, feeling unloved and nursing a rum drink... (wait... that might be my life now... mmm...)
If you don't have a picture of the frag, we will take one when you check in at the site. As the frag will most likely be somewhat stressed and not at it's best,we have asked for a picture of the mother colony if possible. That way everyone can see true colors, ect.

Hi All,
There is a renewed push to get more frags registered into the frag auction. By opening up the auction to pretty much all corals, not just rare and unusual I think we can all contribute more corals.
I know it's tedious and time consuming to pre-select what you will want to bring but it will really help the Frag team move the auction along faster if they know in advance what they have to work with.
Plus... if you take the time to photogragh a decent shot, you will get more $$$ being bid on that coral if people see a "happy" coral, vs. one that looks mighty stressed being shot in an old tired bag...
I'd say also for those that have lots of lps, zoos and other softies, don't be bashful. Many of todays hobbyists are looking for softies. It's a small percentage that focus only on sps corals.
So bring 'em all boys and girls

Okay, I guess I missed how you were going to house the frags. I will bring a frag of African Blue Xenia, but they don't do well bagged for any length of time, a frag of Chromis Palys/RPE, and I'll dig up one more and let you know tomorrow. I'll try to post pics tomorrow as well.
