im going to St. lucia the end of February and staying at the almond morgan bay.. any dive operator recomendations?
thanks in advance.

We used the dive operator at Anse Chastenet and they were GREAT! Victor Antoine who works there has more logged dives than any divemaster anywhere according to SSI, over 26,300 dives! The visibility was not so great when we were there (June of 2010) but the life was absolutely terrific. Lots of great macro life, including sea horses and frog fish. Ever seen an arrow crab with eggs? Would love to go back!

There's a nice reef outside the Jade Mountain resort. If you're staying at one of the Sandal's resorts, you're bound to see a guy on the beach peddling the "Joe Knows" Island tours - I can't recommend them enough. Phenomenal island tour including the hot springs and mud, native meal in town, two snorkeling stops, and cliff diving. Fraction of what the resort excursion costs.

We were there in October and stayed at a sandles, it was awesome. Since diving was included we dove with sandles. To be honest the diving I did wasn't the best. Visibility was probably 50ft and the reefs weren't that great. I only dove one day so it may gave just been the five sites I went to.

thanks for the recomendations. we have been communicating with scuba steve (yes its the actual dive operators name) seems very quick to reply and very easy to deal with.
cant wait to go.

Went and am back to reality...
Scuba steves was a great choice
If anyone ever goes and wants specifics just ask
But the diving there was good not excellent
But then again I have been lucky enough to do some great carribean destinations. Thanks to all that submitted.
