Stacking Tank Stand

Hi

Any thoughts on stacking two of these stands?

Total height would be about 58"

Tank would be Nuvo Black 30 Gallon(36" x 15" x 13")

I was thinking of drilling through both end pieces and using bolts once stacked

One stacked on top of the other with one tank on top, I assume? That should be fine.

Yes, I would bolt/pin/weld them together. You might think about anchoring it to the wall as well.

I bought one of those stands, for the price it's bang for the buck, far from perfect.

Stacking would be too high. I need another 12" of height.

What do you suggest? I don't have a garage or metal shop.

Plan to get the Nuvo Black 30 gallon 35" x 15" x 13"

build a 12" box from lumber and plywood.

good idea but end up costing more than the metal stand and its back to wood support. Cosmetically not nice without more money involved and somekind
of paint or lamination.

I have to settle with the low height, won't complain for a $50 shipped steel
stand. Shipping cost more than that.
