Stand Building

I have seen several plans on pinterest, for things like coffee tables and shelf's using pallets. I was wondering if anyone has used, or thought of using them for a tank stand. I would really would like to make it look rustic-ish, not trashy made of pallets kind of thing.

I would think you might like something more sturdy as the frame of your stand. Check our Rocket Engineer's DIY stand thread for a simple sturdy stand.

Now, what material you use to trim out the exterior of your stand is completely up to you. Since it's not structural, no worries.

Thanks for sharing the link! It's not that I don't want to buy a stand, I just want to try recycle what I have around here and work. You are right, the frame will have to be something sturdy. My lagoons foot print will be 24''X48''.
