Stand, canopy, and lights assistance

So I am looking into making a new stand and canopy for my 10G and I was wondering if anyone had any ideas on some books, programs, or other stuff that would be good to use. I am also thinking about doing some custom made LED lights where I would do the wiring and everything myself. Are there kits for someone with little to no experience or books and such to help me through it? Really looking for some help on this.

Everything you need to know can be found here on the forum. I would recommend using the search feature and searching. Lots of good threads on stand construction and LED DIY projects. Many of the threads have links to suppliers and pictures.

Okay, I will give the forum another shot. Maybe I just haven't been looking deep enough into any of them.
