Anyone make stands and or Sumps ? I need a stand 36x24 otherwise going to have to go with a custom sump.

I am in the same boat. Just when I thought I was ready to get my tank going. Find out my stand is not tall enuff for the skimmer. I plan to make a stand for mine.

I built the stand for my 90G, it's really not that hard. I have no woodworking experience or any nice tools:

Built the frame out of 2x4s and then skinned it with 1/4" ply.

My husband makes aquarium stands. He can make simple to elaborate, cheap or not so cheap depending on the type of wood.If interested I could show you a pic of the stand he made me. He also made stand for Sam at UA

I should have posted an update and I forgot. I got a stand and sump on the way. But thanks refonpit for the info

Could anyone talk to me about building/buying a sump, I think at this point having 3 separate filters is killing me slowly, I just want to buy a nice overflow box get a sump and a pump for my 75g.

Does anyone on here build sumps?
