Star-fish babies

I am wondering how start fish reproduce, I ask because I bought some Live rock a couple weeks back and now I have 3 baby brittle Starfish, maybe more but so far I have only seen 3 at one time.

not baby brittles, but most likely mini brittle stars, they don't get much bigger than a nickel.

Well if that is what they are, will they be safe for a reef tank?

Yes, they're safe. They're a good part of your cleanup crew.

yup 95% of the time you'll just see 3-4 little arms sticking out of a hole.
