Star looking

Saw what appeared to be a white star looking creature on my rock and went to get my camera and came back and it was gone...anyone know what that could possibly be? Good... Bad... wish I could have got a pic...

That is debated by many people. I personally don't mind them. I had plenty in my 75 for 2 years with sps and lps with no issues. Some people claim that they have witnessed this starfish eat their corals. I personally let them do their thing in my tanks. I have some in my 40b and I'm going to leave them be.

Good ? Bad? thanks for the information...

Yes!

There is a fair amount of anecdotal evidence on both sides.

I have the white ones in my tank and they do propagate, but at a slow enough rate that I don't see them as a problem at all. When I get to the point that I see more than I want on the front glass, I pick them off. It then takes weeks/months before I see more than I want again. They don't seem to be doing any harm to the corals. They do occasionally clog up the sponge filter on my siphon overflow. But even that is only once ever couple of months.

Here is a picture of one....he was in the front of the rock and moved into this crevice... sorry best Pic I could get...

Also....

Also, Anyone know what these are? I have like 5-6 tubes coming off my coral and once and a while I see what seems to be a very tiny worm coming out. If it is, what do I do about it and are they going to reproduce into more???? Help.....Good ? Bad?? funny found both these new creatures in my tank in the last 2 days....

I have seen those in my tanks as well. They're some kind of worm for sure but I have never had an issue with them. Someone else may know for sure what they are.
