Star on my Heater

Sometimes I will find my sea star on my heat stick. Will they let go when the heat comes on and should I be concerned that they will get their little feet burnt?

When I find him there, I gently push him off, but I can't always be watching. Will be a mute point later this summer when I add a sump/fuge.

Probably will be fine. I wouldn't worry about it too much.

If it gets too hot, it will more than likely let go or move away. Like it was said before, I wouldn't worry about it.
