star polops & seahorses

does anyone have knowlege on haveing star polops in with seahorses. I wanted to use the SP for the back ground, back of the tank. I also have a big rock with, star polops, recordia & musrooms to use on the bottom and was going to fill around it with caulerpa for the sea horses to hang on to. Kevin

My only concern would be for the coral. In a slow/slack water tank like a seahorse tank, the stars can quickly become a detritus trap and cause algae problems (Lord knows I've been there) Just make sure that you blow out the mat from time to time to keep them healthy.

Otherwise, the seahorses will be fine with the coral. Mine actually hunt in and around my GSPs.
