star polyp ???

ok I bought a smal to med. size star star polyp this past thru . I came home fri . around 1ish and it was opened up all the way and looking good then I left and returned fri. nibht around 6ish and it was closed and didn't open at all yesterday just wandering whats up with it
parameters are: 0 am. 0nittrite 0nitrate ph8.4 cal. 400
any ideas

probably Still gettin use to ur tank. The same thing happened to a buddy of mine. Hows the flow in ur tank?

GSP will pout for a day or so at a time and not open. It'll prolly be just fine.

2 korilla 3 and mag 18 return korilias on the inside of the over flows and returns are on the outside of over flows lighting is 2 250w 14k mh and 2 vho super actinics

looks like it is trying to open a little maybe 1/5 of what it did fri and when i bought it so maybe its just being moody every thing I read about it says it should spread quickly just wandering if it makes it how fast it will glow like x amount of inches in x weeks/ months

It's hard to say just how fast it will grow for you. You may want to put it away from the main part of your rockwork. When it gets started it can be kinda hard to control and get rid of.

thats what i had read its sitting 4-7 inches from the rock on the sand I'll just have to keep a good eye on it

Mine will close for a day now and then but does well overall. The first few days it didn't want to stay open.

yea i htink thats whats going on with mine it finally mad 1/3 open by the end of the day so looks like it will be ok i will keep checking over the next week

When i got my new rock that was covered... It opened right up and never has been half opened. Prolly cause it loves the light its up high.

well looks like alls well it has opened up nicely since mon had one of my 14k go out so had to put my 10k grow bulbs in man its hard to get use to the difference in color between 10k and 14k thinking about some 20k xm bulbs anybody use these
