star polyps not coming out

I have noticed in the past few weeks my star polyps have not been reaching out as long when I first had them. They are still spreading but not growing long.

How much flow and lighting do they have? Also, try to see if someone is picking at them or bothering them.

have you made any recent changes to your tank? aqua scaping, more less flow, lights? i noticed with mine, when i upgraded to leds they kinda went into light shock and didnt open for about a week. they have since opened back up and are doing fine..

the only thing i can think of is the crab that may be eating them. How much flow do they need?

If you think that the crab is eating them take him out, also moderate flow is fine for them.
