Agree, to properly diagnose the issue hard numbers need to be given. Please list all your water params.

Nitrates are a littel high - how much flow over the GSP?

does the emperor filter have any sponge filters in it? if so, that may be the reason for the nitrates. sponge filters will house debris that will cause them to raise in the readings. if it does have the sponge filters, just take them out and run the carbon.
