Starboard anyone?

Kyle,

I have some projects on my Big Boat that I may be able to use some starboard. Let me know what my cost would be. I have some side arm rests that need the wood replaced. I just remembered I planned to do it in Starboard.

Oh it's no problem you got your ways and I have mine. I do agree that sand is a major part in having a complete ecosystem. That's the reason for the 120lbs of sand for the fuge. Hopefully I will get about 5-6" out of it.

I just personally have had terrible luck with ssb and great luck with my barebottom for the last year. Once it gets covered in coralline it looks really good.

Anyone need a bit?

Sorry, I didn't mean to drag the topic further off. I too have over 50x turnover in my mixed 75 with a SSB.

Kyle you are so right, it really comes down to what is working for you. In BB tanks, I really like the look of the starboard on the bottom.

Ditto Dave such a clean look, and oh how I like to suck detritus out for a healthier reef!!! Not talking crap on sand though...I will still have alot in my system just not for looking at (nasty crap that you can see though the glass, lol j/k eveyone).

I talked to Regal plastics about 2 weeks ago and they where going to sell me a 72x24" piece of 3/8"-1/2" (not sure yet) starboard (hdpe) for $60. Today I went to get it and they said they can't sell it like that??? Something about new computer systems or some crap. Anyway would anyone be interested in buying and splitting a sheet?

Thanks,
Kyle

how much is a sheet? and how big will it be??

Matt, I called and it would be about $70 each for a 24x96" piece. If you want it let me know. If you have a truck I may have you go get it if you wouldn't mind. I am in Weatherford and work everyday and regal is closed on the weekends.

Thanks,
Kyle
