Starboard in a 58g acrylic

Any ideas as to putting starboard in this tank. It's 36x18x21...
The openings are 17" diag and 12x14....
I will have to cut the board up pretty good. Will this cause problems...

For an acrylic tank, I don't think you would need to put starboard in the bottom. Glass tank owners do it to protect the bottom from the rock and rockslides....

if you did do star board you could do it in 3-4 pieces right? just silcone them a little to the bottom. shouldnt' have to worry about it
