I am using starboard in my tank and am having no problems with it.

The only drawback I've found in my bb is the movement of rocks.

Movement....! Tell me you have about 4 Dart Golds with eductors...otherwise your using too small of rocks for base or need to start drilling and epoxying acrylic/fiberglass rods into the structure.

I have approx 5000gph of flow in my BB DT with no rock movement. I have hydraulic cemented some structures together and used the acrylic/fiberglass rod-epoxy strategy for others. I can place one of those 1"x1"x1/4" charro tiles (from HD or lowe's) and it will slide from one side of the tank to the other in about 20-30sec. Never had a rock do that yet.
