what kind of problems are you talking about? i have had one on da bottom understand for over 2 years and so far so good

I used to hear about it all the time; not really anymore. Just wondering if problems with it came up. Someone local members mentioned detritus collecting under it. SPS keepers seem most interested in bb tanks so I figured to get the most response here. I do miss the brightness a sandbed gives, and thought I might paint the underside of my next tank some version of white. My main reason for asking about starboard is that epoxy w/sg would stick better to it helping chalk the stack so it keeps from the gradual slide my bb stacks experience.
