I am thinking that i should get a chcolate chip starfish tomarow.
My tank wenyt out of cyciling 2 weeks ago. Also i have 2 live rock
in the tank. And it is a 20 gallon tank. Last i have 2 common clown fish. Should i get the starfish. if so give me some tips please.

Alk= Normal/high
nitrate = 0.0

I have brown algie in my tank. it is on the sand and some on the rocks. My tank has the same info as the one above. (i am the same writer ) So how do i make it go away. also im using a nitrite spong fom Algone. it says it helps make the nitrate domn and algie.
 
Chocolate Chip Stars are definitely not reef safe and if that is the direction you want to take with your tank you should look towards a different start. But if your tank is that new you might want to hold off on a star fish anyway and let your tank mature a little first. BTW brown algae is very common for newly setup tanks. After a little time it should go away on its own. Good luck.
