Ophiomastix annulosa is carnivorous and indeed You can feed him by hand or better with tweezers and give him a little frozen fish or something like that (of course melted, not frozen anymore *g*). It's very keen on food like this and it looks very funny if he has a whole smelt inside and his body is heavily baggy with the fish.
Other brittle stars like Ophioderma spp. or Ophiolepis superba are more herbivorous, the little Ophiocoma pumila only eat detritus and algae of course too. They like carrion either.
