Starfish Help

I picked up a nice Scroll Coral today at the local LFS and got this little guy as a hitch hiker. Can anyone tell me if it's OK for me to put in my tank or should I bring back to LFS. Don't want to kill the little guy.

its an asternia star there are a few that are coral predators and other that eat algae. they multiply by splitting in half when they are about to split they have seven legs. i personally would check your coral for any others and bring them him back to the lfs.

Still an Asterina[/i]. You'll notice if you have a coral predator that it feeds on corals. Otherwise (this is more likely) it's just a harmless starfish. Enjoy it.
