Very challenging to try and determine from these photos. It appears to be all a uniform color, possibly red in color, and more "textured" than smooth in finish. Those traits, along with the shape of the arms leads me to believe it is possibly a species within the broader Linckia sp. family.

For that general shape and color, my other suspicion would be possibly a Fromia milleporella.

My thinking is the same. First thing that popped into my head was Linckia or Fromia species.

That most recent pic you sent with the starfish on the glass reaffirms my initial suspicion and I lean more toward believing it is in the Linkcia family.
