Starfish id???

mystery starfish
Can anyone ID or point me to a good site? I found it (caught and released) while snorkeling in the Gulf of Mexico north of Tampa, FL.

Not 100% sure, but it looks like it might be an Echinasteridae

I'd go with Travis and ante it up to Echinaster. An omnivore that will eat everything in sight. You did the right thing by leaving it.
