Starfish issue

Everyday it seems like a new thing ugh.

So we got a sweet starfish yesterday and it was doing great but then this morning I noticed something was wrong. It was up in the corner of the tank and after I looked at him a bit better it looks like he got into a fight with the powerhead or one of my fish picked at him.

Do you think he will heal by chance?

I have not been able to keep Fromias. I can tell you from experience that it is literally falling apart and dying. Do not let it sit in your tank for days if it continues to decay. I have had tank crashes caused by this.

Get it out now. It has a zero chance of living. For most starfish if you have kept it alive for 6 months your doing amazing. These guys rarely last more than a few months in a tank. One of those item that probably should not be imported as the vast majority die quickly.

Even more so, actually. Linckia are very hard to keep, and not even worth trying unless the tank is 200+ gallons.
