Starfish ok with Horseshoe crabs

Hello all,

I have my tank for over a year now. I finally decided that my tank needed more that horseshoe crabs in it (they are the reason I started saltwater).

Will sandsifting starfish and chocolate chip stars be ok with smaller horseshoe crabs? I don't currently have any serpent stars, but I like them to... would they eat my crabs?

I have a 125 with a couple hundred punds of live rock, a nice bed of sand, the horseshoe crabs, 1 sand sifting star, 1 chocolate chip star, 2 picncushion urchins, and 1 valentini puffer. The horseshoe crabs are still rather small, I really don't want anything to happen to them!

Any advice would be greatly appreciated!

Thanks,
Marxxx

Sand sifters and horseshoes have the same diet(small animals in the sand bed) so I would probly not keep them together. The stars shouldn't hurt the crab and I don't think the crab would hurt the stars either, but one never knows what a hungry crab will or won't eat.

The Horseshoe crabs will most likely die. They get 2 Feet in length and need copious amounts of food. Polychaetes and similar worms when small, Clams and other mollusks when larger. The Sand Sifter star is the same, and will most likely perish as well.
