starfish reproduction

does anyone have any information on sand sifting stars reproducing? i have what looks like to be a baby sand star on my glass. i was getting ready to run my magfloat across the glass and saw it. i watched it for awhile to see if it moved just to make sure i wasn't seeing things heres a pic ignore the dirty glass
