starfish?

Ive had me set up for about 3 years now. Just recently I have been seeing these little starfishes. They kinda look like sand shifting stars but really small. The weird thing is that instead of 5 arms these little guys have 3, 6 and 7 arms. I heard from my lfs that these little guys irritate corals but I dont remember correctly if these guys are the one. Any ideas?

sound like you have ASTERINA STARS they will split and multiply in your tank. MOST asterinas are good guys, but there are some types that munch on coral.

Just looked them up and they are exactly them! On the safe side Ive been starting to take them out as I see them. Thanks!
