Starfish

Does anyone know what starfish this is? Got a friend giving me some if his live rock as he appeared! Can I put him in my tank?

yeah typically you will get "micro brittles" in corals/cheato,etc...


my regular black brittle is just about 20"+ long from tip to tip.. got him as a baby 2+ years ago.

I call him Lurch

Yea I'd ask your friend if it's ok, just the thing to do. Small brittles are one thing but that's a big guy.
