Starry Blenny always hiding and not eating

hey i bought a starry blenny a few days ago and he hasnt come out of his little cave much at all.. he barely eats and is extremely shy, will he come around?

He should but it can depend. Mine did act this way at first for several weeks. Now, he is out in the open all the time. When he settles in he should come out more.

Do you have aggressive fish that is picking on him when he comes out?

Ahh okay thank you, and no when he does come out him and the other two fish hang out in a group of three, I think he's scared of me, because whenever he sees me he races right back to his cave.

Mine was afraid of me at first, took him a week or two to relax.
