Wheni first got my blenny he was always in the front asking for food, when I changed light from t5 to kessil he was always hiding and I thought it was just dark and afraid of the shimmer, still eats but not as good. I changed the light to reef breeder very bright like t5 with no shimmer but still hides above the filter when lights turned on and doesn't eat as good. My other fish are fine. what could be the problem? thanks

Im following this because i got a starry blenny two weeks ago and he was big, healthy and happy. Ate like a pig and i have nothing in the tank that could really mess with him yet yesterday he disappeared. Not on the floor, not in the overflows, not in sump or filter socks. I assume hes hiding so hopefully someone with starry blenny experience will chime in on your question . Good luck

They like to hide in rock crevices... They blend in real well too. I'm sure he'll show soon...
