Started my taller DIY canopy for my 240

About time i know, i have been just so busy at work and not had any time to get this SW project going, its still FW in the tank right now but i wanted to get all of my upgrades done before the switch.

i am also not 100% happy with the stain match but it will have to do for now. i still need to install the fans, which by the way what fans are you guys useing in your canopys?

blow air in but not directly on mh bulbs. bulbs like to run hot but the hood itself should be cool enough to keep the tank temp down.

Very nice job!.......but I have what may seem to be a silly question.....is it an optical illusion, or is your top 6" to 8" longer than the tank? If it is longer, why is it?

Thanks everyone, no its not any longer then the tank, see ware its not flush with the stand when its on the floor?

as of right now the only lighting is T12's

the doors were pre made oak doors

i still need to install the fans, what fans are you guys useing?
