Hi,
I had a Cyano/Hair Algae problem, so restarted my tank. Full details here http://www.reefcentral.com/forums/showthread.php?t=2476696
Now with tank starting up again, and this time I started Vinegar dosing. I read that bacteria growth (white) would show up.
Phophates are zero. Nitrate is around 5-10. Was 10, but dropping.
Is this what I'm seeing? Is this a good sign?
Also it appears the tank is also having a macro algae bloom. Including bubble algae. Is this expected?
I did add a Emerald crab and he is very busy pecking and eating.
Will this cycle and end? Should I be slow on lighting ramp up?
