Starter SPS for top of rocks?

Hello all...Attached is a pic of my 90 gallon. Still a new system up about 8 weeks or so but my water parameters are finally in a place where I'm happy with my progress. I have a toadstool, cauliflower colt, zoa and added the small frogspawn frag this past week. Probably going to give it a few weeks before I add anything else. I have the Marineland LED 48-60" lighting system and 2 koralia 1500s.

I haven't added any SPS and am wary of it, given the newness of my system but I'm curious if there are some hardy ones that you can recommed. I'd like to add something on the top of my rocks to add some color, probably the right side first. Lot of flow and light up there. Any thoughts?

Your lighting what is the specs on it? Not familiar with it but i suspect its not going to be enough for sps prolly fine for lps and softies as their light req are less than sps

but the red montipora and green birdsnest can do pretty good with low light and tend to be more resilient than other sps corals in my experience. Also, I would wait 3-4 months before adding sps corals to a tank.

As stated in the LPS thread you posted, this light is better suited for LPS. GL

Monti will be your best chance of success with those lights. I had the same fixture PLUS 2 additional T5's over a 55G, actually had great success though.
