You have the nicest tank (and one of the nicest backyards) I have ever seen, and I aspire to have a setup as nice as your someday sooner than later. Thanks for being a part of RC! :D

Thanks for the nice compliments.

A better pic of the Angel.

Do they really look that blue in person?

Thank you for detailing everything out Dano999.
I've read your thread in it's entirety and it is SO helpful for a newb like me who doesn't know diddly about the wiring or plumbing connections.
Also detailing out and providing pics of thosee little roadblocks and things that crop up when installing, that's so helpful. The meticulous detail about the big things and the small is what makes this so helpful.
And the comparative pics are a fab idea.
Your tank is beautiful

Also, I've been watching your torch coral in all of your photos since you got it. And it has become so beautiful.
I'm saving your thread link as I will more than likely need to read this when I get a tank.

Thanks again.

Thanks for your kind words. I hope the thread is helpful as I have wasted a lot of money not doing it right the first time.

Lesson learned. By the best skimmer and Sump you can afford. I went through 4 skimmers and three sumps in less than a year.

Regarding the skimmer and sump, will do, thank you. Even if it takes longer to save for a better skimmer, it sounds like it would be way worth the extra time. Thanks again.

I have owned the Tunze 9010, the Bubble Master 160 (paid $500) and the Reef Octopus Extreme MSX 160. The first skimmer I owned was a joke so I won't include it here.

The reef Octopus Extreme MSX 160 outperforms all of them at only $265.00. That's $50 less than the Tunze and $240 less than the Bubble Master. It is absolutely awesome.

For a Sump I recommend Aquariumpros.com. Go with the largest you can. The one I have now I had custom made but still wish I went a little bigger. Couldn't make myself change again.
