I have the end two bulbs on a 430 ballast being used for Dawn and Dusk. The middle four bulbs are on a 660 and are for Mid Day.
The bulbs used are the following:
Front
UVL Super Actinic - 430
UVL Aquablue - 660
UVL Aquasun - 600
ATI Blue Plus -660
UVL Aquablue - 660
ATI Blue Plus - 430
The six bulb kit is sold with these two ballasts.

With everything complete and the Live Rock ordered it's time to fill the tank.
At this point I started adding salt and used the Hydor Koralias to circulate the water.
The tank completed filling in 21 hours from the RO/DI.
After I finished with the tank I moved the RO/DI hose to the top off reservoir. This will be a good opportunity to make sure the float valve works. When the reservoir is full I will turn the RO/DI unit off. I have no need to keep it connected.
A final check and everything is working. I checked the auto top off again to make sure it was still working and let the top off reservoir reservoir fill up the remaining space.
I programmed the Aqua Controller during the time I was waiting for the tank to fill. After looking at all the devices connected to the tank and what I wanted to do I decided to purchase another Direct Connect 8 which will now allow me to control up to 16 different devices. I now need to decide where to put it.
Still waiting on my fans. Looks like I am going to make a trip to Fry's and use the fans I ordered somewhere else. I'll give until the weekend.

I just went to the Neptune site and confirmed you are right about only being able to use the DC-4 or DC-4HD. The vendor's info is wrong as it states the following.
- Up to 5 DC8s can be daisy chained together for up to 40 switched outlets.
I probably only need four and the regular DC-4 would work.
Hopefully I can get this changed. Good thing I used American Express.

By the way, my RO/DI unit produces a gallon every 16 minutes (at around 58 PSI). I did end up with the same unit you did.
Hmm, 21 hours would be 78.75 gallons for me... I bet your production rate is faster.
Looking good. Now all you need is live rock and you can start waiting.

21 hours included the sump too. Taking into consideration displacement for the sand I would estimate 4.8 gal per hour at 60 PSI.
The water temp has something to do with it. The warmer the water the faster the rate. But hot water will destroy the membrane.
Live Rock comes today. It is suppose to be in at 11:00 AM.

Just found your thread. I'm tagging along. I just set up my first saltwater in June (same tank as yours).
I think you will be happy with your t5 set up...I have mh set up and it's been a struggle this summer to control the temp. Fan's have been my best friend.
You mentioned that you were having some problems with "water fall" noise. I would check out "Herbie's Method" or the Ultra Quiet reef tank thread. http://www.reefcentral.com/forums/showthread.php?threadid=344892
I did this shortly after setting up the tank in my bedroom and could not happier with the results. Literally silent overflow. I hear only slight hum from skimmer and return pumps.
Given any thoughts to livestock yet? or refugium?
